‘Rowing Boat Launch’ day!

Was the Edinburgh Union Canal Society's start-of-season, "Rowing Boat Launch day" earlier this afternoon ...

... pleased to report that the weather held fine for the whole day: we had 13 boat-hire slots taken up; sold a mountain of home-baked cakes; gallons of tea & coffee; held a successful raffle; & even sold a few plants :-)

All-in-all a very successful start to the 2025 rowing-season :-))
