Ritualized Plumbing

The ritual is that you make more than one trip to Ace before the  leak can be fixed. Just two trips for this leak, not bad.
We remodeled the kitchen in 1999; see how different the times were: we felt a pencil sharpener was important, and figured there’d always be bottles to open; there is still the occasional bottle to open, but we always use the opener in the drawer.
Then, with the kitchen still a big mess, we went out to celebrate,  where they open the bottle for you: Mock Crest Tavern. I’m so glad, too, because we ran into a favorite parent from Eric’s teaching days. The family had two sons with autism, the older now works with autistic children.
