Clear Water

Although the beck that runs through Goit Stock is clear - here at Hallas Bridge it always looks murky - due to the lack of sunlight at this spot.

Blip courtesy of A who mended my camera on the walk this morning - it refused to take shots - she did things with the battery - gave its casing a magic blow - and hey presto - it worked. A is also a dab hand with gas boilers.

Was naughty whilst on Granny Duty this afternoon. Took H and M to Coppice Pond to feed the ducks - but forgot the duck food. Lady B's café - where WilsdenWalker was having coffee with friends - also had no food for them.

We had taken some sandwiches with us - told the grandchildren to eat the filling - ham - and give the bread to the ducks.

Wonder if this is a sackable offence
