A memory

Every day Google Pictures sends me photographs I took on the same date in previous years.  Today this one popped up, one of my favorites.  Here are Sam and Max with the stuffed animals I gave them for their second birthday.  Sam has Snowy the owl and Max has Douglas, who I think is a ferret.  They really loved them and it gave me such pleasure to see their happiness.

Tomorrow I'll be straightening up the apartment because not only are the cleaners coming on Monday, but the building is doing inspections "to make sure we are complying with the terms of our lease" on Wednesday.  I'm not looking forward to that.  I'll also be going to Lex's house to give her a hug and kiss before her hip replacement surgery on Monday.
