A little splash of colour

It appeared that summer was on its way out today, rather chilly, but all of a sudden this little visitor appeared. Very charming, especially as it landed on the dead poppy head. I have no idea how common or unusual it is, but I don't think I have seen one before. Very pretty and brought a splash of colour into my day.
