Walking The Beach

My wife and I scoured the beach this morning for shells, glass and other jetsam to replenish her supply of craft materials. We have been waiting patiently for the big storms to arrive, like the ones last year which brought in all kinds of items, but so far they have not materialized. Without these storms she has been running low on raw materials for her projects and has started collecting just about anything she comes across. She picked up this barnacle encrusted piece of wood and I think wanted to take it home but realized that it would never make it through the cleaning process. I offered to shoot a photo before we returned it to the ocean where more barnacles will undoubtably be added, making this even cooler looking.
