A good day

I gave myself a talking to last night and got up in a positive mood. 
A few weeks ago I broke the roller blind in the bathroom. When James visited I asked him to get it down for me so I could try and fix it. Not only could he not do it (screws rusted and unloveable) he made it worse by totally breaking the chain. It’s been joined ever since with string. I couldn’t stand it and with determination and a screwdriver I removed all 4 screws and got it down. I didn’t realise how expensive a new one made to measure was going to be, but went ahead anyway. Fingers crossed my measurements were right! 

Dog walk and trip to the pharmacy for my prescription and a coffee frappe! And then…..2 hours gardening. You wouldn't know it to be honest, I seem to have cleavers everywhere and I discovered I’m allergic to them, but I did it! First time I’ve been that energetic, and not given in for at least three years. I do ache tonight. I’ve messaged the gardener and she’s definitely fitting me in next week, but I’m hoping the positivity lasts for tomorrow too and I can get a bit more done! 

Not sure if it was the blind or gardening but my left pinky is double the size it should be and rather painful, but I can’t bring myself to moan about a pinky :)
