Weaving.

To celebrate my birthday I had a lovely day out with my crafty friends at a workshop all about wool and weaving.
These are our little woven offerings hanging in the sun to dry . We wove some yarn from different types of sheep then set up our little wooden looms with warp threads. Then we wove a variety of yarns in using the loom, incorporating our hand woven yarn. We didn't have long enough to make enough yarn to do the whole thing with our own yarn 
It was interesting and a lovely day out.
LooseCanon was taking part in the  Shakespeare birthday celebrations in Stratford, he had a good day too. 
This evening we went out for a delicious meal at the Bell at Welford on Avon
