Favorite

Some of us in my hiking group went to the Darla Moore Farm today for the yearly plant sale and to walk around the beautiful flower garden. So many flowers including roses that actually smelled like roses.

This clematis is my favorite of the day mostly because I have never seen this variety. Now I want one for my flower bed.

I did find a vining plant, mantis cordefolia, firecracker plant, to plant at the new fence. It will bloom starting in late May and supposedly keep blooming as it spreads. Likes hot sunlight and average watering. It has orange flowers. Hoping I can get it to stay alive.
