Another Great Day

Daughter Number 2 and I had a meeting with the Cabin owners this morning to talk about our plans to turn it into a community pottery studio. I was really nervous as I really wasn't sure what to expect or how it would go....

But.....

It actually couldn't have gone any better.

Julia had bought cakes and was so interested in what we had planned and nothing was an issue. She was happy for us to do anything we needed to do with the property with regards to electrics, inspections, certificates ect and didn't think there would be a problem with planning. They even came up with other ideas and said they would pay to get the decking around the outside fixed if we could find someone to do it.

We came away from the meeting feeling much more positive and can start the process on Monday when we can talk to the council.

I'm still expecting lots of hurdles as nothing is ever easy but so far things are looking great.

And just a few coincidences which I love..... The pottery wheels I have been looking at are called Kiln Craft Daisy. British made and look rather nice. I got a good deal on them yesterday. The person that painted the leaf mural on the wall was called Daisy and she painted it just yesterday. 
Yesterday was also 3 years to the day I started pottery lessons while we were living in the cabin. On Wednesday DN2 and I decided we wanted a green theme without knowing a green mural was being painted!!!

I'm sure it's a sign!!!!
