Campagna Romana

Today was our last day here in Italy: tomorrow morning we have our flight back to the US. In the morning we got our luggage’s squared away, while also watching the Pope’s funeral. In the afternoon, I went to the funeral of one of my uncles that passed suddenly on Thursday. The occasion was sad, but I got to see cousins that I had not seen in decades.

My main was taken while driving to the airport: it is how the farm land outside Rome looks.
