Lots of gardening today - mowing parched grass, deadheading, digging up unwanted / stray plants, de-snailing the nooks and crannies.
I have a love/ hate relationship with these Japanese anemones - they are virtually indestructible which has both positives (even I can't kill them, such is my lack of gardening talent) and no matter how hard I try I can stop them encroaching (ditto).
They have 'eaten up' a lovely plant I called my butterfly plant. I can't remember its real name.
One brown bin full & 3 large green bags. Virtue !
