Huge

An early start.
6 removals men arrived with 3 middle sized trucks. And they began to load and we began to clean. 3 friends joined in and we all worked and didn’t stop.
There were some stress points - a missed cupboard for example. And NoaNoa, still recovering from surgery and moving slowly. And MightyMouse, determined to somehow still work in various places. And a cat that kept trying to escape and then hated his cat carrier.
But the vans were all packed up by 12.
And we all drove away. Big thing. Can’t describe it.

Elbows took our keys to our Agents with the dogs and one friend in the car. And then met up with me and Dot.T with the cat in Dot.T’s back garden, because their place was close to our sellers agent. And we sat and waited tensely for the money to move.

We were told at about 3pm that it would happen soon so Elbows, friend and dog went off to get keys as quickly as possible and I went to the house to meet and placate the removal men.

2 lovely church friends were there already, waiting to help. And the wait went on for another hour. It wasn’t nice.

At 4.15pm, we got the keys. And then it was madness again. Main prominent thought - what amazing help we had. Another couple of friends turned up too. I am so so grateful for all of them, for those praying and to a faithful kind generous God.

The house we’ve bought is so lovely. Despite ending the day exhausted beyond exhausted, there is excitement ahead.

I have so much more to say about today. Can’t say it all.
