Becoming the Joiner's Assistant

It has been quite some time since I spent the day clambering around scaffolding and assisting with a job of this size.

I have been in good hands because Eric my joiner, seen in action here, is a very skilful man and it was not long before I was picking up all sorts of useful advice about how to do the job. It looks like it will take a further three days to replace the fascia boards and then we can replace the guttering.

I was very happy to do the job because in reality Eric could not have done it single handed. I have been told not to be late for work in the morning!
