Day started early with delivery of much-anticipated new armchair at 7:30 am. Delivery guys were easily persuaded (bribed) to put old sofa downstairs and living room now looks delightful, fresh and uncluttered.
Played in a doubles tennis match in the afternoon. I had a bit of a self confidence crisis last year and didn't put myself forward for any of the club matches, so very pleased that I have joined in this year. I won't do many, and I do now fully understand that my always limited skills are waning. But I'm okay with it now. We lost, not badly, and it was a nice match played in good spirits with plenty of running around.
