CROSSED FINGERS

I daren't cross them the conventional way yet, but I'm hoping the steroid injections I had this morning, intended to release the trigger fingers on both hands, are going to be effective. I left the car at home and walked to the clinic, hoping that would mean they'd be able to give the injections then and there. And yes, I ticked all the boxes which included not driving for a few hours so she went ahead. My previous treatment was effective for seven or eight years, so that's what I'm hoping for.

(I did suggest she might "accidentally" trip over with a syringe and manage to stick it in my bad knee, but she felt that would take some explaining away in her notes! :-D)
