My quest to get a good photo of an Orange tip continues.    A female was in the garden but all I managed to get was this with her wings closed.  What was striking were the eyes.  Butterflies have compound eyes giving them excellent 360 degree vision enabling them to see everything around them so while they are feeding they can still detect any threats behind.
