Marooned

The road works that were due to start next Monday started early this morning, this is the view from our bedroom window.
We were trapped in for several hours but we hadn’t any firm plans or appointments so it didn’t matter.
I cleaned through the house which was long overdue & then moved another plant in the garden.
When the road reopened I went into town for J’s prescription but it wasn’t ready - hopefully Saturday.
We went to a very interesting talk this evening, the speaker was Mark Sisson, he’s a professional nature photographer based in Shropshire but showcasing Nature in the Falklands, his photographs were stunning.
