Fetlar Detour

A beautiful sunny morning, more cloud further north.  The skies cleared, and a beautiful sunny afternoon and evening.  Calm to a breeze tonight. 

I've been working with Andrea again today.  We started early, headed for the ferries to Unst.  Bulk waste removals from Baltasound, then to Cullivoe in Yell, also Mid Yell.  I finished my spring cleaning chores after work.  Niece Megan popped by this evening.  Walkies with Sammy before bed. 

The north isles have been hit badly with ferry disruptions for a while now, making coming and going from the island more difficult, where a fixed link could solve the issue.  Unfortunately for us today, someone made our booking out of the island a day ahead, we had to sit in the unbooked queue.  We managed to squeeze on a ferry, but a slight detour took us to Fetlar first.  Thankfully we weren't in any real rush, just a shame we couldn't go ashore for a look around.  Leaving Hamars Ness pier, Fetlar.
