Four Old Mates Enjoying The View

Well, they have certainly stood next to each other for a long time.

We had a long drive (240 miles) then a pleasant walk around Loch Morlich near Aviemore. Some massive and fabulous Granny trees, as well as some Forestry plantations.

My extra is of a massive fungus called Gyromitra esculenta, and about 15+ cms wide and nearly that tall. It made me think of The Presidents Brain Is Missing - a Spitting Images sketch about President Ronald Reagan. It is also perhaps an appropriate colour for Mr Trump.
Apparently this fungus is common in N America and Europe, and found in sandy soils under coniferous trees.
