Ebenezer

What a shite day - lashing and cold and I've just lit the fire. A quick rush out in the garden for a blip - a refusal from the cat - and a couple of drippy offerings fartnarkled  for the full abstract as requested by Ingeborg. Prehistoric rock art I wager? Or maybe an Ebenezer? 

Today I have been learning about the Ebenezer Particular Baptists - yes the Crabtrees were all keen followers. Who knew an Ebenezer was a stone as in: When God delivered his people from their enemies the Philistines, the prophet Samuel declared, 'Thus far the LORD has helped us' (1 Samuel 7:12). He set up a stone as a memorial and called it 'Ebenezer', which is the Hebrew for 'stone of help'.
