Very friendly

Today started with our very first SongCircle without Gill, Marmaduke or her guitar. They're the stars of a Festival show instead. It was odd but charming although perhaps no coincidence E was more interested in the biscuits than singing today. We stopped at Marie's house to drop a birthday present and enjoy the last piece of birthday brownie before heading home in the sunshine. We met this pair of lions on our way (Danube Street, I think). E stepped straight up to chat, pat and hug them. Telling me they were "very friendly". I was pretty glad when we waved goodbye, the owners might not have been as friendly as E and the lions!
