Enjoyed a lovely walk…

up onto the moor after watching the Black throated diver on the loch. He has changed his feeding area this year, I think because of disturbance. The sun shone and the clouds made attractive patterns on the hills. It is sheltered from the snowblower wind here. Suddenly, saw a movement and there was a thumbnail sized gem of a butterfly on the young conifers, a Green Hairstreak! Great!
