Paul’s big birthday weekend concluded today. First stop was brunch on North Street, baby Ava was in attendance so cuddles for everyone. Really nice to see Matt and Aureen for the first time since they got engaged as well.

After that we wandered to the stadium, our plan was to get there early to check out all the food trucks at the back. However we made the mistake of going through the barriers and were then stuck in the stadium - they don’t open them again to the outside food area until half time. Lesson learned.

I had some mediocre £7 nachos (warm crisps with a pot of weird rubber cheese dip) and we sat in our seats - at least it was sunny!! We lost the game but a fun day.

To the Beer Factory afterwards for some drinks, then Matt got the hiccups while we were deciding what to do next so we headed home for oven pizzas and Doctor Who.
