Edinburgh A to Z

EDINBURGH's a funny place. Makes out like it's a big city, but seems more like a village. I'm not from here, and I don't know many who are. Didn't mean to stay here so long - you just seem to end up sticking around. I suppose a lot of places are like that. It's not like London - people who live there know exactly why they're there: big career, making money. All that shite. Gets on my tits, the way they go on, you'd think the world stops outside London. Edinburgh, though - Edinburgh's too far up its own arse to even admit there is a rest of the world. But that's the posh side of this place, all the knob-heads whose daddy runs one of the investment houses, and who went to Fettes or the Academy or one of them wank palaces. They stick to their own, but you run into them everywhere. This one Claire's not that sort, I don't think. Her English accent's for real, rather than one of them "Scottish, but too stuck-up to sound Scottish" accents. She's pretty cute, with her hair cut in that
