One might think it is Tall Ship season around Fremantle lately, however Dufken can hardly qualify as a tall ship. This extraordinarily accurate replica ship was built in Fremantle and the people who sailed these tiny vessels across the world to be the first European discoverers of the western side on the Australian continent were true heroes. The young crew who sail it today are heroic too in my view.
