Up Haw Lane
Primroses and Violets - I’ve never seen so many violets before, must be a good year for them.
Did a bit of Lino print before going to aqua aerobics.
I was going to carry on printing when I came home but I fell asleep after lunch!
It’s been a lovely day.
Last night when we had just gone to bed a white van roared up our dead end road and parked at the top (yes I hopped out of bed ‘cos I’m nosy!) then we heard police sirens on the main road. I reckon the white van was being chased and turned into our road before the police could see where it went.
Also there were two police vehicles at the start of our road this afternoon, unrelated I think. A couple with 3 young kids live there. I think there may be drugs involved but they are a friendly couple, I feel sorry for the children.
I always make a fuss of them when I see them. Drugs are the scourge of society. I speak from experience. :-/
I’m halfway through Kelvyn’s (intothehills) book. ‘Walking Out of the Dark’. extra.
To say I’m enjoying it doesn’t seem the right word. Let’s say I feel compelled to read it, what a story. Tears have welled but I know there’s a happy ending to come. Some people have such resilience.
My neighbour, Sarah popped round earlier to borrow our tin opener as hers wasn’t working. 2 minutes later she came back and the handle on ours was broken! I only bought it a few days ago! I’ll have to take it back.
Amelia got her train track braces today. Extra. I knew she’d go for pink!
Goodnight Blippers. Thanks for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts recently. :-) X
