Floral facilities

Today F and I went on a U3A trip to Lancaster.  We went on a canal cruise on the Lancaster Canal as far as the very impressive Lune aqueduct.  It's a fine stone Grade 1 listed building that carries the canal over the River Lune.  It has five stone arches supporting the trough.  More information here.

My son went to Lancaster University and I  haven't been back since so it was good to see it again.

On the way back we stopped at a big garden centre where we had tea and a scone.  F told me about the floral urinals in the gents so he took my phone to get a photo.  I was torn between blipping the historic aqueduct or the urinals.  The quirky photo won, the aqueduct is an extra.
