Azalea just opening up

Our day started with the sad news that Pope Francis had died. We’re not Catholic, but we have a number of friends who are, so it will be a sad day for them. Laura was having breakfast out with a friend, and then starting her journey home. It was a warm but somewhat overcast day, but it remained dry, and R was able to get the grass cut front and back, while I was busy inside doing housework, which has been rather neglected lately.
Since I didn’t get out for a walk today, I took a photo of one of our azaleas just opening into flower.
