Leicester Art Museum

Today we spent most of the day in Leicester. Meeting up with my old school friend with Mme MB and our two kids. We went to a nice coffee place on Market Street.
Then we walked down New Walk to the Leicester Art Museum. Now although I studied art & graphic design many many years ago, I'm not a massive fan of art galleries. But this wasn't too bad. An Iraqi artist based in Leicester had some work on display, along with some German between the wars art.
Added to this was an Egyptian themed exhibition and some fossils. The history about the "Saff" (Saffron Lane Estate) and a Leicester history timeline was right up my street.

After that, we went to have lunch and then via the Town Hall Square to Primark. I'd call Town Hall Square ganja square, more and more odours of cannabis.

I also managed to get some more video and photo content of the buses, before we went back to Theddingworth with our shopping.

We're all tired and my feet ache. The Park & Ride back to Enderby was packed.
