Final Day in Hong Kong
Another busy afternoon of sightseeing. Today we visited a temple, food and jewellery markets, a bird market and a lookout point giving spectacular views of the city.
As you can see from my picture there were chicken's feet for sale! There were also live fish and lots of amazing fruits.
I bought a jade bracelet from the market, jade is a good omen in Chinese culture.
The bird market was quite upsetting, as the birds were crammed into tiny cages. There were some beautiful parrots, but they looked like they were going mad in their small cages. Apparently, some people buy and release the birds for good luck.
Then it was onto the airport for the flight to New Zealand!
