Perfect timing

One of my lovely clients has recently started painting and after she shared a picture of her latest work on LinkedIn last week, I asked if she was going to start selling them. And in particular the one she shared that day, a sunflower; after all I am rather partial to them!

She very kindly said she'd send it to me and, if I genuinely liked it, she'd like me to make a donation to The Pituitary Foundation.

Anyway this all happened last Tuesday, and then Bill died, so I completely forgot about it until today when a parcel arrived in the post.

This morning was the first time I've been at home on my own since then, and I was really feeling how empty and quiet the house was.The arrival of this lovely gift felt perfectly timed and brightened my morning just that wee bit.

I will definitely be making a donation! 


Side note: I did my usual river walk late afternoon and for the third consecutive time the deer were there. Just two today but even closer than before.
