We made it!

Apart from remembering thast we hsd left our passports at the hotel after we had been on the motorway for half an hour, it was an uneventful journey. We always try to arrive in Italy on Sunday when there are no lorries on the road - Italian motorways are very narrow and fast, with sharp bends and short slip roads - terrifying if you trying to overtake a lorry! The first thing we did on arrival was jump in the pool, and then had supper with some friends - now we can relax!
