An unlikely crop

I live in a pretty upscale neighborhood and many houses are razed to make room for another mini mansion. Between the time it has taken for the bulder to raze my neighbor's house and build a new house, the most unlikely crop has grown up in the foundation of the old house: wheat. I can't imagine where the seed came from.
