Cloud Pruning

My favorite tree out front. I wanted a photo while it is blooming. Our garden service calls the pruning technique “Cloud Pruning”. Niwaki in Japanese, as a form of topiary. It can be applied to individual trees ( we have 5 out front) and required pruning twice a year. Seems to be popular with the tour buses for a photo stop. I note that NannaK was a member of the garden committee. I am not! NannaK ) HCB)
