Catching up on back blips from last week

Saturday 12 April
It was time to head home today, so as to be back home for Palm Sunday tomorrow. Before we set off, I took some photos of our Bed and Breakfast where we have spent the last two nights, inside and out. When we were ready to leave, we went back into the house to say good bye to our host and hostess, and was totally surprised to be presented with a bouquet of a dozen red roses, in honour of our wedding anniversary earlier in the week! When we were checking in on Thursday evening, the husband mentioned there was just one other couple staying currently, and they were celebrating their wedding anniversary, and so we just mentioned it had been our anniversary the previous day. Nothing more was said, and we thought no more of it until this morning! Such a sweet gesture - an example of their southern hospitality.
Our journey home went well overall, other than two long delays in Tennesee.
