Skagit Tulips

Every year come rain or shine I/ we have taken our friend Marilyn up to see the tulip fields in the skagit valley . This time it did rain , but cleared up pretty much while we strolled the display gardens. As always, they were lovely .
After we visited the tulips we took her out to lunch at the Chuckanut manor on the drive up to Bellingham. We came back down then to the open air market and all got ice cream.
We are pretty tired tonight , but a lovely day .
