Cuckoo Flower

We walked a circular route from home to Cotton Dell nature reserve. There were so many wild flowers around. This is one is thought to flower as the cuckoo arrives. Hence the name. And is also known as Lady's Smock.

But I didn't hear any cuckoos on our walk..

The extras include garlic mustard with a tiny insect, and an earwig resting in a dandelion.

A much needed time away from all the mither with my dad recently.
