So that’s where it’s going

Caught a squirrel helping itself at the bird feeder.
It jumped down as soon as it saw me, and scuttled across the lawn. Straightaway a crow started chasing it across the grass, up the fence and into a big tree. I thought the crow had flown away, but a second later the squirrel was running for its life along the top of the fence, with the crow in hot pursuit.
It must have dropped to the ground and run away, because next thing the crow flew off into another tree. Goodness knows why it chased the squirrel, but it had looked pretty scary.
The pigeon that appeared next was much more placid ( extra ).
