Not the best strategy . . .

. . . perhaps.

I spent a satisfactory couple of hours this morning piecing all the black bits, and bits with black on them, thus creating the outlines of the Zodiac signs. However, I now realise that the individual images will be tricky as they use all the same colours (I’ve almost completed the only one that doesn’t.)

I read an article in the Observer yesterday which was a report on taking part in the Gibsons British Jigsaw Championships (who knew!) in Newmarket. Fascinating stuff. The nine-time British Champion completed the 1000 piece puzzle in I hour 15 minutes . . . ! Apparently she doesn’t complete the edges first, just does blocks of colour. So that’s where I’m going wrong!

Much duller - and colder - today but the weather should be better for the rest of the week, which is good as we have a special visitor arriving tomorrow.
