Hello, Longview

Weekend trip to see some of my med school bestests?? Why, yes, don't mind if I do.

Hubby and I went out to Longview to surprise Shane as part of Pilar's plan for a surprise birthday party. We had a great time hanging out by the pool talking to each other and catching up. Shane may or may not have really enjoyed being poolside and been a little late to dinner but he put on his dancing shoes and went out to Graham's afterward! We had a blast, he had a blast!

It was great seeing everyone and just getting away from FW for a bit. Nothing like a drive back through the old stompin' grounds (East Texas) for Douglas and I to help us re-center and re-focus.
