Damp garden

I took lots of pictures of my tulips opening in the sun yesterday but no sun today. They may be past their best when I get back next week so I took this photo out of the conservatory window. 
I did nip out with my phone and was surprised to see how different their colour looked in a phone shot (more red than orange) so I’m going with this. 

You can also see the orange Chaenomeles (Japanese quince) in the background which was in the garden when we moved in more than 40 years ago. The blue to the right are flowers on a pot of Rosemary and also a glimpse of Spanish bluebells in the background.

Such a contrast today from yesterday but I suppose two out of four good days on a bank holiday weekend isn’t too bad!
