Wildside Garden
What a gorgeous day. Three of us made the trip down to visit Wildside Garden (where Gilesey, another blipper, works). We got there as the garden opened so had an amazing time looking at all the wonderful, unusual plants. The garden is informal so one just 'follows the nose' going this way and that, taking in all the shapes, colour, scents etc. Spring flowers are almost over but the azaleas and rhodies are blooming beautifully. There are so many different plants, many of which I've never seen it was difficult to decide what to show off. The views, especially of the Tribute Garden were stunning too. I look forward to going back in the summer to see how the flowers grow/ develop/ appear. It is beautifully laid out, with loads of places to sit and stare/admire the view.
We popped into Buckland Abbey Cafe for a light lunch and quick wander as Linda had never been there, before heading back to Wildside to finish our wandering.
