The beauty and perfection of Nature

The garden was alive with butterflies, bees and hover flies this morning. This Peacock butterfly was sunning itself for ages on a bit of old wood, probably warming itself up. Have never looked so closely at the markings before. They are truly stunning.
Great weekend with 2 parties on 2 days. That also is perfection!
