St Ives Blues

A morning spent trying to sort out my blood monitor. My local chemist washed their hands of it, saying I’d have to contact my surgery on TUES and get a new prescription. Also they didn’t have of the correct strips any in stock anyway! Went to Tesco, none in stock. As a last resort I went to Boots in town who had some so I bought a box. It’s still playing up though as it’s taken me at least 15 strips today to get two readings. My fingers are like a chuffin pin cushion. Let’s see what tomorrow brings !

With all the kerfuffle, I’d completely forgotten that I had no milk. Had to make an evening trip to the supermarket and called in St Ives on the way. Bluebells and a bit of fresh air brightened my spirits a bit.
