yes, we have no peaches

Does anyone remember that song "Yes, we have no bananas, we have no bananas today!"??
Well, we have no peaches today, and by the looks of things we will never have ripe peaches.
I stopped handing out peanuts to my "pet" squirrels at the end of May when we cleaned off the back porch for our summer use. And since then the little beggars have been scarce. Now they have discovered the nascent peaches. So when the peaches run out I guess they will be back begging at my door.
