Kick/Off

Following the glorious laziness of yesterday, I felt compelled to get out and do a few jobs this morning.

This was in advance of an afternoon at the football with m’boy. His new team had been invited along as one of the teams of the week and got to meet the players beforehand as well as take a penalty at half time.

He loved it and we enjoyed the game too - although it was a bit of a scrappy affair, not helped by Kendal having a player sent off early on and the other team offering nothing, but we saw a goal and it was a great experience!

I can’t believe that having lived in town for 20 years now (you can tell by my accent) today was my first visit as a fan to the club.

Definitely want to go back next season!
