Concale by backblip
This was the first day of our holiday proper. We went to Concale. A town of restaurants near a beautiful headland with some amazing mussel beds visible at low tide. The tide changes by up to 10 metres in places and apparently this makes the seafood fabulous. It was the beginning of mussel season and they were delicious :-)
The fency things here are mussel growing things. It appeared as if families had these instead of allotments. As we sat in the restaurant eating them the trucks of fresh mussels just rolled on past.
