In The Charity Shop And About Crossing The Bridge

Sam caught my eye in the street. Strolling around, dressed in his kilt, colourful and different, he kindly agreed to pose when I dared ask for a photograph.

Another thrill of the day was my encounter with Drew Wiggin - the writer I recently met and introduced myself to. Chilling out in the same spot where I first noticed him months ago, I approached with a grin and he was genuinely pleased to see me too. He is now writing his second piece of work - a children's book, he said (very intrigued). I read his first one which is an amusing and extremely witty account of his adventures as a young man, working on farms across Europe and gearing to face the inevitable and still unknown challenges of adulthood. The final scene in his book is alluding to this pending transition beautifully - he is facing a bridge and feels ready to walk across it...
