Crashing Out

Presumably they are all pointing at the ball!! This is a back blip posted 3 days after St Johnstone went out of the Europa League third round qualifier against the white shirted FC Minsk. It's taken me this long to cope with re living any of it! Having won away in Minsk last week all Saints had to do was not lose tonight. Of course, they did, 1:0 which took the game to extra time and penalties which of course they lost. Why can't Scottish teams compete at this level? Minsk were no better a footballing team but they had the mental and physical toughness to hold out, take their one chance of the night, then boss and bully the saints team who started to become embroiled in petty personal battles with their counterparts. Gutted, enraged etc etc but here's hoping we qualify for Europe over the course of this season and I can go through it all again next year!!!
